Landscaping and Manscaping

Deutsch: Frau bei der Intimrasur mit einem Nas...You can file this one under Sexual Education and Grooming! I'm talking about pubic hair, the hair down there that can be the subject of many 'romantic' conversations. Women have it and men have it, but women are put on blast about it constantly. And men need to take more time maintaining their nether region. So, I decided to write a little article on keeping the hedges trimmed.

Pubic Hair
Bush
Hedges
Peach Fuzz
Muff
Carpet

There are many names, just for the hair down there. It is such a common thing that it is necessary to give it many names, so that you can fit it into conversation better. It is a common belief that the purpose of pubic hair is to keep women from getting any "stuff" into their vagina and keep a guys sperm warm.

So what's all the fuss about? Well, in ye olden days people didn't have the hygiene skills to shave their monstrous muffs. "You know what's under my petticoat?" Today, men and women alike are getting sick of those little obnoxious hairs and are insisting they be shaved away.

To bare or not to bare is the question? Do we keep our vaginas shaved in submission to masculine pressure or can we grow our bush and be proud? To maintain an equilibrium, I vote to enjoy any combination of both.

At times, shaving can be annoying. From razor burn to cutting that tender skin, is it really worth it? To enjoy a variety of "hair cuts" is to be as flexible as possible. No one should be judging, or taking score. A given amount of hygiene is expected, and a fair trim is necessary! But let's just be fare, and be free to bare!

Yea, I went there and yea, you should think about it!!

Proper Condom Storage

There are a few things to keep in mind when having sex... safe sex. Most importantly the proper use of contraception, and I'm talking CONDOMS!

We all know a condom can break. We all know that serious consequences can arise when a condom is not used properly. We can not be lazy and stick our heads in the sand when our sexual health and general lifestyle is at risk. Condom safety and storage are of utmost importance when preventing STD infections and unwanted pregnancy.

Here are some tips to help keep your condoms fresh so you can keep getting it in:

  • Always store your condoms in a cool and dry area. The bathroom is known to be very hot during shower time and this can cause your condom to break down and become weak.
  • Do not store in the sunlight and do not try to use them in water.
  • Follow the expiration date. Condoms have a shelf life and will become brittle with age.
  • Do not store your condoms in your wallet or pocket. Friction from movement will cause them to break down.
  • Follow the "first in, first out" rule. Use your oldest condoms first, assuming they have not surpassed their expiration date.
  • If a condom is discolored (generally yellow or white spots), brittle or appearing to break, throw them away!
Follow these simple tips and you'll have a condom that is (nearly) guaranteed not to break!

The Pregnant Virgin

ID 100598421 I Was A Pregnant Virgin
SOURCE
We've all heard of immaculate conception. But is it possible for a woman becomes pregnant even though she's never experienced penetration? According to one mom, it is. Here's her story.

I was a pregnant virgin and I am now a doting mommy to a 9 week old baby and this shocks many people when I tell them. Yes you can get pregnant without having sex. I’ve had 6 boyfriends and have done some sexual stuff with them but  I have never  actually had full on penetrated sex. My friend thought she was pregnant so asked me to do a test with her as a way of support and my test came out positive.
I thought because I wasn’t having sex I couldn’t get pregnant so I had not bothered with using any form of  contraception and the only way I can explain what happened was his sperm must have got onto my private area and got me pregnant.
I was petrified of labor thinking it would hurt so much more as I hadn’t  been stretched’ down there, but I ended up having internal exams (which were quite uncomfortable but didn’t hurt) and a fast labor (4 and a half hours).
I haven’t told anyone (obviously the father of my baby knows) because I was really embarrassed that I am a 20 year old virgin. I wanted to write this purely because when I searched ‘pregnant virgins’ online I found nothing that said it was possible to happen and felt really alone about it.
It's a scary thought. This woman had avoided intercourse, probably for a number of reasons, including an unwanted pregnancy.  If there is anything to learn from this story, it's to always ALWAYS be careful and use  some form of birth control. Even if you think you can't get pregnant because you are only "playing around". Sperm is tricky, and it only takes 1 out of millions!

Dirty Hippies

There is a rising theory that soap is one of the most harmful things we can put on our bodies. It is necessary at times to remove germs and other stuff from our skin, but it is also known to be very drying.

Aside from use on the more smelly parts of your body (genitals and sweaty areas) it's a good idea to lay low on your lathering. Even your hair. We've known for years that letting our hair collect natural oils keeps it glowing. The same is true for our skin.

Think of it as using the wrong tool. Soap today is harsh and isn't correctly balanced so that it doesn't take away your natural oils. These oils are essential to healthy glowing skin and hair.

I suggest reducing the amount of soap to a minimum. Wash your hair every other day or skip a few days if you can stand it. Also look into getting all natural cleansers. These are less likely to damage your bodies individual balance. Moisturizers are also a good idea, for putting water back into your skin. I suggest looking for one that is unscented and doesn't contain any alcohol.

Refried Hippie

Refried HippieWhat is a Refried Hippie? A new age hippie, born in the wrong decade. Hippies and beatniks of the 60's have inspired a new generation to lead a path to freedom. Refried Hippies, like any other micro-culture, are all different people. Different backgrounds, different styles, different beliefs; all with same ideal for world peace. This blog will incorporate all the aspects of a new age hippie lifestyle, with throwbacks from the summer of love!
